Who’s got your back was created by 5 Stanford students: Dot, Carissa, Mannan, Nathan, and Sam. We discovered that Mozilla Firefox is being continuously created and updated by millions of computer users, just like us, to make the internet safer, faster, and more customized. And they do it for free. This is called, open-source, and it’s completely opposite to traditional business logic. Firefox is owned by everybody who uses and contributes to it, and focuses on maximizing value for the Mozilla community, compared to Internet Explorer which focuses on maximizing value for Microsoft Shareholders.
